Patchwork Oriental Reversible Vest., The vest is made of off-white/bone fabric with tone on tone printing. There are appliqued Oriental designs, including the Noshi & the Kimono Ladies. Parts of the fabric were hand painted with gold metallic paint and stenciled with black kanji & bamboo. The vest is 'Sashiko' machine quilted with bone varigated quilting thread and embellished with tassels & beads. The inside of the vest is a beige/bone fabric with oriental ladies, and stencilled Kanji writing. These vests really need to be seen in person to appreciate the intricate artwork involved.
